Chikaya Radio

Chikaya Community Radio Station Broadcasts in three languages namely, Tumbuka, Nyanja and English on a daily basis. The Radio station opens at 05:00hrs and closes at 24:00hrs.Chikaya Community Radio Station Broadcasts for nineteen hours in a day.Radio Chikaya is transmitting in the Frequency Modulation (FM) channel on 90.5 with a 1000w transmitter. Chikaya Community Radio Station proudly covers a radius of 140+kilometers in the areas of Chiefs Mphamba, Zumwanda, Phikamalaza, Kapichila, Senior Mwase-Lundazi, Senior Magodi, and Mwasemphangwe in the plateau region including Kazembe, Mwanya and Chitungulu Chiefdoms in the valley area and part of Malawi, Chama and Mpika districts respectively
